The staff was super cool, always giving us tips on the best places to hang out in Castelo Branco. We had a blast exploring the city and chilling at the awesome rooftop terrace. The WiFi was lit, so we could easily share our sick adventure photos on social media. We felt like rockstars!
The only thing that could have made our stay even more lit is if the hostel had organized some party nights or events for young people. Don't get me wrong, we had a great time exploring the city, but it would have been super dope to meet other young travelers and have some fun party vibes at the hostel itself.

the hostel exceeded my expectations in every way. the rooms were sparkling clean, the staff was helpful despite the language barrier, and the breakfast was delicious and filling. i would choose to stay here over a private room any day. it made my summer holidays in castelo branco truly memorable.
Poor signage at the entrance.

Comfy beds, good internet, warm rooms, and a very quiet environment made our romantic escape enjoyable. The staff was helpful, especially Veronika, who went out of her way to assist us and even helped us rescue a lost wallet. Having English-speaking staff was a huge advantage in a city with limited English speakers. The location was perfect for our needs, allowing easy access to the hospital we needed to visit daily. We were grateful for the support we received during our emotional time.
The limited charging access in the rooms was inconvenient, as the beds were locked in place and didn't provide space to connect our devices. The lack of variety in the breakfast options became tiresome after a few days.

Our recent stay at the Pousada de Juventude in Castelo Branco was exceptional. the staff were incredibly welcoming and provided us with helpful tips throughout our stay. the twin bed room we stayed in was spacious, clean, and had all the necessary amenities. the beds were comfortable, the internet was reliable, and the rooms were warm and quiet. We were even able to check out slightly later due to work commitments, which we greatly appreciated. We would definitely choose to stay here again in the future. Cons: Nothing, it was perfect! 👌.

the price was reasonable, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. There were plenty of shower cubicles and toilets available for sharing, which was convenient. the location of the hostel was ideal for my needs, as it was close to the hospital I needed to visit daily. the staff, especially Veronika, were incredibly helpful. One day, she went out of her way to assist us during a particularly emotional day, helping us make a cup of tea and even helping us locate a lost wallet. Speaking English was a bonus, as we didn't encounter many English-speaking people in the area. I am grateful to the staff at this hostel for their support during such a difficult time. Cons: Don't have any issues at all 😊.

For the money we paid, it was definitely worth it. The room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The location was great, with nearby attractions, supermarkets, and cafes within walking distance. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.
The breakfast offerings could be improved by including some hot food or snacks available for purchase in the evening, especially since the shops were a bit far from the hotel. It would have been convenient, especially when we arrived late and hungry.

At Hi Castelo Branco - Pousada De Juventude, I enjoyed the self-service breakfast and cozy shared lounge. It was conveniently located near restaurants and offered free public parking. The Cargaleiro Museum nearby was a highlight. Also, there was free WiFi, so I could keep up with my social media!
Oh, how I wished they had a Michelin-starred restaurant and a personal butler at my beck and call. How dare they not cater to my every whimsical desire!
